The Challenge

Help my friends stand up their new business by taking on AWS' then recent acquisition of ROSject, a free platform enabling people to learn and work with advanced robotics (including self-same digital twins of the Mars Rovers)


The Approach

Working with existing clientele, I was able to design a short-term, tactical scope which helped WinterWinds get off the ground and begin to focus on their core product offering. This also enabled the client to receive the benefits of a significant increase in OT/IT and cybersecurity functionality.


The Outcome

  • Acquisition of early strategic clientele
  • Initial Roadmap
  • Fundraising support collateral, such as the video above
  • UI/UX for a post-AWS acquired ROSject competitor

I've always thought Product at a startup was less like getting on a rocket and more like keeping the bus moving at the right speed, all whiledishing out what keeps the wolves at bay.
